How to Add a New Account in QuickBooks

To setup a new account in your QuickBooks Chart of Accounts, just enter the following keystrokes:

1) Ctrl+A
2) Ctrl+N
3) Select the Account Type from the drop-down box (Bank, Credit Card, Expense Account, etc.)
4) Enter the name of the new account
5) Click “OK”
